🔍 Validate Your Infrastructure Stack Before You Deploy
The Interactive Lifecycle and Compatibility Explorer is a web-based tool. Use it to answer critical questions before upgrading, deploying, or planning your infrastructure. The explorer replaces manual cross-referencing of compatibility tables across multiple pages. Instead of checking driver release notes, operator documentation, and NVIDIA Run:ai support matrices separately, you get a single answer in seconds.

Lifecycle Policy Updates
Infra 7.6 added to the Explorer - The Interactive Lifecycle and Compatibility Explorer now includes Infra 7.6 LTSB (June 2026, GPU driver 580.167.08) with full cross-stack compatibility data, including the NVIDIA Virtual GPU Manager (580.159.01) and the vGPU for Compute Guest Driver (Linux 580.167.08 / Windows 582.53).
Infra 8.1 Explorer data refreshed - The Interactive Lifecycle and Compatibility Explorer now reflects the latest Infra 8.1 component versions, including GPU Operator 26.3.3, Network Operator 26.4.0, DPU Operator (DPF) 26.4.0, NIM Operator 3.1.1, NVIDIA DOCA 3.4.0, NVIDIA Container Toolkit 1.19.1, and Base Command Manager 11.33.1.
Before You Begin#
The Lifecycle Policy sits between initial setup and production deployment. Here’s where it fits and how to use it depending on where you are.
✅ What you should have completed before arriving here:
Account activated - You’ve redeemed your Entitlement Certificate, created your NVIDIA Enterprise Account, and have access to NVIDIA NGC, the Support Portal, and the Licensing Portal. If not, start with the Quick Start Guide.
Infrastructure running - You’ve installed GPU drivers, the NVIDIA Container Toolkit, and optionally Kubernetes operators. You’ve verified GPU access with a basic workload. If not, the Quick Start Guide covers three deployment paths: Bare Metal, Virtualized (vGPU), and Public Cloud.
Know what’s included - You’ve reviewed the NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software document and understand that your NVIDIA AI Enterprise license includes the full Application Layer (AI frameworks, NVIDIA NIMs, SDKs, NVIDIA Omniverse) and Infrastructure Layer (drivers, operators, NVIDIA Run:ai - both self-hosted and SaaS). If not, review the Software document first - it maps every component across both layers.
