Hey, I’m Ben. I work in healthcare IT, and outside of work I build small tools for problems I keep running into.

UsageLoop started because I wanted my Codex reset clock running before I sat down to work. CloakScan came from wanting a safer way to strip secrets and internal details out of files before sharing them. SignalSpace Finance is the personal finance app I wanted: no account, no cloud dependency, and no subscription.

When something turns out useful, I clean it up, test it properly, document it, and put it on GitHub.

If one of these saved you time or solved something annoying, sponsorship is just a way to throw a few dollars back into the next build, fix, or release. My first target is $50 a month, which covers the baseline Codex and Claude tooling I use while building and testing them.

If not, seriously, use the software anyway. It stays free and MIT. Sponsoring isn’t a support plan and doesn’t buy priority fixes, roadmap control, consulting, or locked features.

@benthompsondev

Cover the $50/month baseline for the Codex and Claude tools I use while building these projects. If it gets there, great. Everything stays free either way.
