Karim brings wealth of experience spanning technology law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance across the Middle East, Africa, and globally. He specializes in AI, data, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data privacy, media, intellectual property, FinTech, and digital media. Throughout his career, Karim has advised boards, C-suite executives, and business leaders on technology transactions, cross-border regulatory matters, digital transformation initiatives, media production and licensing, and data governance frameworks, supporting clients in navigating complex legal and regulatory environments. Karim is a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), a certified mediator for commercial and intellectual property disputes through the ADR Center of Rome, and the founder of Data Administration Management Association of Egypt (“DAMA-Egypt”). He also serves as Regional Coordinator for DAMA International across the Middle East and Africa. Karim is a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) USA & Canada, an Associate Member of the American Bar Association (IP, Science & Technology, Franchise & Law Practice Management), and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and is admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association (Supreme Court). Karim’s experience spans advising on AI-driven solutions, digital transformation projects, data governance frameworks, cybersecurity, and data privacy across multiple jurisdictions.
