Important: This feature is currently available only in the United States.
Universal cart allows you to save products across Google services and manage them in one central location so it can travel with you while you shop.
You can discover and add products to your cart from the following surfaces:
- Google Search & Shopping
- AI Mode
- Gemini Apps
Manage items and cart checkout
Inside your cart, products are organized by merchants. Here you can review product details, or remove items.
When you are ready to buy, there are two ways to check out:
- Check out with Google Pay: For participating merchants, you can complete your transaction on Google using your saved payment methods.
- Check out on the merchant site: For other merchants, Google helps you populate your cart on the merchant's website so you can complete the purchase there.
Track your orders
After purchasing, merchants may share information about your order with Google. For those orders, you can monitor your progress in the “My Orders” tab located within the cart.
- Status updates: Get fulfillment details like "shipped" or "delivered" for supported merchants.
- History: Find a list of your applicable recent purchases made through your cart.
Manage your data
Your cart and order are saved in Google Wallet. For more details on how to control your data, visit Manage data & privacy in Google Wallet (US only).
Understand limitations in Gemini Apps and AI ModeYou can save items to your cart through Gemini Apps and AI Mode. These surfaces have limited access to your data and may be unable to complete the following.
- List your cart items or status updates directly in a chat conversation.
- Add items directly into your cart.
- Provide updates about your order.
Commonly asked questions
I cannot see my order dataMerchants may provide Google with the order data for the items in your cart that you purchase with the merchant. Some merchants do not share data back to Google so these orders do not appear in the “My orders” tab.
To fix these issues, contact the merchant you made the purchase from.
