Supported Media Formats

This page describes the media formats supported by various Haven OnDemand APIs.

Image Formats

The following standard image formats are supposed by the Image Analysis APIs, including Barcode Recognition, Face Detection, Image Recognition, and OCR Document.

• JPEG
• PNG
• GIF
• BMP and ICO
• PBM, PGM, and PPM

You can also submit PDF files to the Image Analysis APIs. The APIs use HPE KeyView to extract images from PDF documents.

Video and Audio Formats

The following section describes the Video and Audio formats that are supported by the Speech Recognition API.
