Most popular products in April: (Barista), Peanut Butter (Crunchy), Baked Beans & Veggie Sausages. Coffee, PB sarnies & Beans on toast FTW!

Remember those convex security mirrors that shops used to have? This is me taking a photo into one, whilst holding an identical one in my other hand.

Note taking geeks: check out ROAM. Think Notion, but (mostly) text (markdown++). Autocomplete & keyboard navigation baked in. 2 way linking of notes, tags, pages is 🤯👌to A.D.D. me. I've not opened OneNote in a week. This is unprecedented.

Got a lead on someone who can do hand-painted sign writing in the village. “Something Jones, definitely Jones.”

Shop launch update: website went live 8pm Fri as did a mailing list & FB post. We opened Sat for 3 hours. Got 20 walk-ins & 7 web orders totalling around £n00. Everyone from the village that we spoke to were lovely & supportive. We even got a bunch of flowers & a bar of choc gift

23 years after building my first website I finally launch a B2C eCommerce store. Soft-launch day today and awoke to an order, all £17.12 of it. This time next year Rodney...

Off-road food delivery vehicle / bike geek update: managed to retrofit the rear rack off my Surly Long Haul Trucker onto the Cube eMTB. As the bike is mahoosive the geometry is *perfect* no bashing of feet against the panniers when giving it some welly. Trailer arrives next week.

Random observation: food particularly hard to get hold of right now is bread yeast & strong white bread flour. Earliest delivery slots for yeast on Amazon is 3-4 weeks out. Wholesale, same deal.

New concept to me: a business holding stock, how long it takes to build up reserves of that stock and, more importantly, how you don’t want it just sitting there doing nothing. There is easily a high-end shiny Laptop worth of food visible here.

People and businesses - what disconnect has and the lockdown brought to you that technology could help ease? What digital/online services are missing that would help you most in the current situation? RT appreciated
