Jaclyn Mack posted thisAI adoption keeps getting pushed to HR to lead, and from talking to my peers, HR leaders are getting stuck! Merge is an infra company and has historically worked with engineers and PMs. But with AI adoption falling to HR, I feel like we should be working with HR teams now more than ever. We all know how to roll out new processes with our teams. Where I think Merge can help is the tools side: giving employees access, letting HR and IT control what's being connected, and helping teams learn what more they can do. So I'd love to talk to HR and People leaders who own (or are part of) AI adoption at their company. 30 minutes with me and someone on my team to hear what you're seeing, what's blocking you, and what would help. Not a sales pitch! If that's you, DM me! Excited to connect!

Jaclyn Mack shared thisI ran my first half marathon! 13.1 miles and a lot of training later, one of my biggest takeaways was how good it feels to set a goal that feels a little intimidating, work toward it, and actually accomplish it. And it reminded me a lot of what we do at Merge . We set ambitious goals, take on hard problems, keep pushing ourselves, and get to see the impact of that work along the way. If that sounds like the kind of environment you want to be part of, we’re hiring! 👀 We’re especially looking for 𝗖𝗦𝗠𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗘𝘀 who want to challenge themselves, have real ownership, love getting into the technical side and make a meaningful impact. If you’re ready for your next challenge, come join us at Merge 💪 Check out our open roles: https://lnkd.in/ep8C6Nng

Jaclyn Mack shared thisI truthfully hate some of the mandatory processes I have to do on a regular basis. Some take way too much brain power, some I’ve been putting off for way too long, and some just feel more like busy work than actually helping anything. But as much as I don't like them, I also know they’re there for a reason, so they have to be done. Enter Merge Agent Handler + Claude. I’ve now built multiple routines and skills to take some of this work off my plate. With quick human approval in Slack, they can update the Google Sheets and Notion pages I maintain and handle repetitive tasks that used to take up way too much time. Best part: I’m now helping my team learn how to build routines and skills of their own! This is the kind of AI automation I get excited about. Not AI for the sake of AI, but using it to make our jobs easier and give us more time to focus on the work that actually matters. And if building with AI and building AI sounds exciting to you too, we’re hiring! Check out our open roles here: https://lnkd.in/e5n6CQKz

Jaclyn Mack reposted thisJaclyn Mack reposted thisIntroducing Merge's Universal Context Layer. It substantially decreases token cost while increasing accuracy. Every company uses AI wrong: Say your designer makes a deck using Claude. They teach Claude your design systems and typography. Now a Marketing hire makes a deck. None of the information your designer taught Claude gets passed over… why? Merge fixes this: All knowledge and memory across your entire company gets stored inside our context layer. When someone on the org teaches Al, that skill lives across the entire organization instead of staying locked in their session. Your AI runs faster, cheaper, and with more accuracy. You don’t have to switch systems, incur more costs, or retrain anyone on your team, Merge runs invisibly in the background. Book a demo here: https://lnkd.in/gH-8wWGp

Jaclyn Mack shared thisHow is it already back-to-school season?! 🎒 It feels like summer just started, but somehow we’re already at the point where everyone is soaking up the last few summer weekends and getting ready for fall. And while you’re doing that… it might also be a pretty good time to start thinking about what’s next 👀 There is A LOT happening at Merge right now. We’ve been launching new products, growing the team, and continuing to find new ways to make integrations easier. Have you heard about Merge 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 yet? 👀 If you’re looking for your own “back-to-school” moment this fall, we have a bunch of exciting roles open across the team. New season, new job? 🍂 Check out our open roles (https://lnkd.in/ep8C6Nng) and come build with us!

Jaclyn Mack shared thisSuch a fun few days with the team last week in San Diego!! Nothing beats getting everyone together in person, especially when there’s a little friendly competition involved. From a hackathon and an amazing guest speaker to our very own team Olympics and some time on the pickleball courts, we packed a lot in and shared plenty of laughs along the way. Most importantly, it was so great to step away from the day-to-day, spend time together, and just have FUN as a team. So grateful for this team and moments like these. Already looking forward to the next one! Check out our open roles: https://lnkd.in/ep8C6Nng

Jaclyn Mack reposted thisJaclyn Mack reposted thisWe just cut AI spend by 75% across an entire workforce in one click. Introducing: Merge for Workforce. Without Merge, your employees are left choosing one of two options: 1. Spend 100x the cost they should be from using frontier models for everything 2. Deliver subpar work from overly restrictive model access Instead with Merge, IT can connect any identity provider and set model routing policies by team in one click. Merge pushes them to every machine through a desktop client, overriding the model configs across your team’s AI assistants and coding tools. Now every task gets the right model for the job. The result? 75x fewer tokens with faster and better output.

Jaclyn Mack shared thisYou always get asked what makes a great company and a great culture, especially when you work on the people side. And while the big initiatives matter, it’s often the small moments that have the biggest impact. Even more so when they come directly from a founder, just because. A huge shoutout and thank you to Shensi Ding , who surprised the NY team with a Caffè Panna run. The team got outside on a beautiful day, spent time with people they don’t normally work with, and, most importantly, enjoyed some delicious ice cream. It was such a simple gesture, but one the team really appreciated.

Between the billboards, Lenny & Friends Summit, and 8+ dinners, we still found time to ship: Universal Context Layer, new models on Gateway, Batch Requests, and Self-Hosted Models. Stay tuned for what we've got cooking in October.

Jaclyn Mack liked thisNow live on Merge - routing to self hosted models.Jaclyn Mack liked thisEnterprise AI shouldn't force teams to choose between control and flexibility. Merge Gateway now supports self-hosted models so that teams have a single place to operate them alongside models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and countless other providers. Route AI workloads between self-hosted and hosted models, centralize governance, and get a single source of truth for telemetry, spend, and model usage across the organization. Keep sensitive workloads on your own infrastructure, while governing everything through Gateway.

Both were amazing, and it was so good to spend time with everyone in person!! Shout out to Matt Linehan for being a great co-host. :) We're hosting a lot more events like these, so keep an eye out. Let me know if you want to join the next one!

Jaclyn Mack reacted on thisJaclyn Mack reacted on thisIt had been a long time since I last picked up oil paints, but my new living room had a big empty wall above the couch, so I made three paintings to fill it. Painting them was genuinely so calming, and I kept falling into a flow state while I worked; it reminded me how joyful analogue ways of making things can be :)

College Recruiter job search site
David Turetsky, host of the HR Data Labs podcast, interviewed our founder, Steven Rothberg about the recruitment metrics that many employers use. Together, they talk about the ones that make sense and bluntly throw under the bus some which are very popular but make no sense to use at all. Costs per quality hire, we're looking at you....

HR Cloud
Only 22% of employees get the right amount of recognition. The other 78%? They're quietly watching for their next opportunity. Most HR teams know recognition matters. But here's what separates programs that work from expensive initiatives nobody uses: Measurement. Here is a comprehensive guide to the 25 employee recognition metrics that actually move the needle on retention, engagement, and ROI. Inside, you'll find: ▪ The 5 participation metrics that predict whether your program will survive past year one ▪ How to measure recognition equity and catch systematic gaps before they become retention risks ▪ The turnover comparison that proves whether recognition is saving you money or just burning budget ▪ Why "great job!" recognition is functionally useless (and what specificity scores reveal instead) ▪ A phased implementation approach so you're not drowning in dashboards The research is clear: organizations that measure recognition strategically see 24-31% lower turnover, 17% higher productivity, and $16M+ annual savings at scale. But only if you track what matters. Recognition without metrics is hope. Recognition with the right KPIs is strategy. SeeMeHired
Calendly, Zoom, Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms... these are all great tools but they weren't built for recruiting. At best, you can stitch together a process to support interviewing every once in a while. But once volumes are up, managing multiple candidates and interviews can become a nightmare. This is where SeeMeHired Interviews come in. Bringing all the tools you need under one roof: ☑️ Schedule interviews without the back and forth (replaces Calendly/Cal.com) ☑️ Pull up the candidate's background and job requirements during the interview (replaces Docs/PDFs and managing multiple browser tabs) ☑️ See your pre-set interview questions and add notes (replaces Forms) ☑️ Immediately fill out the candidate score card after the interview ends (replaces Spreadsheets for evaluating candidates) Plus all the regular features you'd expect such as audio/video, chat & screen sharing. If you'd like to bring interviewing under one roof, talk to our team today ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dZx33Ug
