- [Lisa] Every minute of every day, our systems are bombarded with attacks designed to gain unauthorized access to your network, to steal, modify, or hold systems hostage. As a result, using firewalls are a critical component of any system. They're designed to stop a malicious actor from moving through your network. In this course, I'll review firewall services and compare the different types of firewalls. I'll outline how to use access control lists. I'll show you how to implement network address translation and configure zone-based firewalls. I'll finish with a review of the firewall features on a Cisco adaptive security appliance.
