Creating a virtual machine in VirtualBox
All right, now that we have VirtualBox installed, let's create a virtual machine. For this demo, I'm using VirtualBox on Ubuntu Desktop, but the procedure is pretty similar on other operating systems. The interface is all the same, so just click New, and there you can provide the options. So let me call it MyFirstVM. I need to specify a folder. The location of this folder is quite important because virtual machines are big and you need to specify a folder that has sufficient disk space. I would say at least 50 gigabytes, if that is possible. Next, you need to select the ISO image from which you are going to perform the installation. You should be able to browse to the location of the ISO image through the other folder. And there we can see Ubuntu Server with an ISO image size of two gigabytes. So select it, then you click Open. And next, it's telling you that it has detected Ubuntu 64-bit. Now, the interesting thing is that it doesn't ask you anything else. And if you click next, then…
