Benoit Simard shared thisFrench below. It is with great enthusiasm and emotion that I announce my retirement from TELUS, after more than 28 enriching years with the company. I know I'm too young for the real retirement :-) My journey allowed me to contribute to the construction of the network in Quebec, establish marketing strategies such as Génération inc., support the product management team, particularly for networks, collaboration, and cybersecurity for the commercial market in Canada, participate in multiple acquisitions, and build and lead GoCo, which transformed the SDWan connectivity services market in Canada. TELUS gave me the opportunity to work with the best colleagues and leaders in the industry and attend the best educational institutions, including Insead, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. It also instilled in me strong values of inclusion, respect, and social commitment. A huge thank you to everyone who trusted me and supported me over the years. You made the difference and became my second family. I will take the next few months to enjoy life and plan my next adventures, while enjoying travel, sports, and the outdoors. It was a privilege to work alongside you and be part of such a great team. Long live TELUS and best of luck for the future! _______ C'est avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme et d’émotion que j'annonce mon départ à la retraite de TELUS, après plus de 28 ans au sein de l’organisation. Thank you Heather Tulk, CM, ICD.D and all TELUS colleagues and friends who supported me along the way.Benoit Simard shared thisI am delighted to congratulate four leaders I have had the pleasure of working with who have just been recognized with the TELUS Legend Award. In the words of Dolly Parton, "If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are an excellent leader." Each of these winners exemplifies that definition, and I am truly grateful to have worked with each of them. Bravo to Jodi Baxter, Andrew Ross, MBA, Benoit Simard, and Mimi Vanderwalt. You inspire me, and I have learned from each of you. Savour this well-deserved recognition. The TELUS Legend Award is the highest internal recognition for team members, honoring individuals who have made extraordinary, career-long contributions to customers, business, and community.

Benoit Simard liked thisBenoit Simard liked thisTELUS is a design partner for Qostodian Nexus, and Chris Madan put the problem plainly: "The question of what happens to sensitive data the moment it enters an AI system is one of the most consequential challenges enterprises face. At TELUS, responsible AI and data security are foundational to how we build. TELUS is proud to be a design partner with Qohash on this capability, and to contribute a Canadian operator's perspective to how this important problem gets solved." Qostodian was built to address this market demand. Qostodian Nexus sits between your people, your AI agents and the models. It identifies sensitive data as it moves through AI workflows and applies policy before the model sees it: allow, block or mask. All within your own environment. Thank you to Chris and the TELUS team for helping us build this. #QostodianNexus #ALLIN2026 #DataSecurity

On behalf of TELUS I am honored to co-chair this anniversary edition of the #Gala Des Grands Chefs, benefitting the Canadian Cancer Society. This annual event brings together Montreal’s technology community to support the Maison Jacques-Cantin, an essential haven of respite for patients and their loved ones. Benoit Simard liked thisBenoit Simard liked thisI grew up in an immigrant family. German was the language we primarily spoke at home. For me, being on the outiside meant wanting to prove I was as good as anyone else. It also meant noticing things a lot of people don't have to: the moments that quietly tell certain kids they're not part of the mainstream. Subtle things happen in classrooms, and in society, that make it harder for certain people to get into tech -- and when you've lived it, you notice when it happens to others. This is one of the reasons the TELUS Digital leadership team and I am so passionate that the tech industry should reflect society, and this is why our work bridging the digital divide matters to me as much as it does. It's not just the right thing to do -- diverse viewpoints force us all to defend our views and make the final outcomes better. #DigitalDivide #TELUSDigital

US Advancements in 5G, Security, and Infrastructure: - T-Mobile's Cyber Defense and Brand Expansion: From unicorn-themed security obsessions to launching Mint Mobile's 'MINTernet' FWA service, T-Mobile is democratizing high-speed home internet—watch for disruptive pricing models. - Verizon's FWA Rollout and 5G SA Vision: Tracfone's new 5G home internet at Target stores, plus emphasis on 5G Standalone as a 6G enabler, underscores the shift toward scalable, consumer-accessible networks. - AT&T's 6G Ambitions and Vehicle Connectivity: Pushing for AI-native 6G with 'network as a sensor' capabilities, while integrating 5G into 2026 Toyota models for enhanced connected services—pivotal for IoT and automotive synergies. - Spectrum and Open RAN Progress: US leadership in 6GHz Wi-Fi fuels Wi-Fi 7 speeds, while Dell's new servers and DoD-backed spectrum sharing R&D (led by InterDigital) promise breakthroughs in AI-driven co-existence. Latin America's Investment Surge and Market Dynamics: - America Movil's Profit Triple: Q3 net profit soared to MXN 22.7B on debt reduction, with 4.2% revenue growth—demonstrating resilience in a competitive region. - Regional Expansions: Movistar Colombia's symmetric 1.5-2Gbps fiber, Nubicom's $200M 5G rollout in Paraguay, and OpenAI's $25B 'Stargate' datacenter in Argentina signal massive infrastructure bets. - Financial and Ownership Shifts: Tigo Colombia's $25.4M loan for debt optimization and GTD's datacenter stake sale to InfraCorp reflect strategic capital reallocations amid client migrations. Run-DLJ Telecom & Networking Equipment
Tailored telecom solutions are critical to Quebec's healthcare sector. Hospitals and health organizations need communication systems that won't fail when every second counts. Off-the-shelf products often miss the mark on reliability, bilingual support, and specific operational needs. At Run-DLJ Telecom, we specialize in customizing telecom setups that fit Quebec healthcare's unique demands. For example, one hospital improved their internal communication by 20% after switching to our VoIP and wireless phone solutions designed for their environment. Our approach combines: - A broad selection of new and refurbished phones, headsets, and networking devices - Same-day order processing and advance replacement programs to minimize downtime - Bilingual expert support to quickly resolve issues in English or French What this means for healthcare providers is clear communication that supports critical care, reduces costly delays, and respects budget constraints. Reliable telecom isn't a luxury—it's essential to patient safety and operational performance.
