Hey there! 👋

I am Gianmarco Scarano and, currently, I am a Ph.D. Student at University of Sapienza in Rome (Italy), for the National Ph.D. Program in Artificial Intelligence (XLI cycle), focusing primarily on the application of Deep Learning and Computer Vision methods to medical and biomedical imaging, specifically for periodontitis diagnosis.

I hold a Master Degree at University of Sapienza in Rome (Italy), valid for the Artificial Intelligence & Robotics course as well as a Bachelor Degree at University of Bari "Aldo Moro", for the ITPS (Computer Science and Technologies for Software Production) course.

In my free time I like to produce music (mainly house, lo-fi and ambient), throw late-night music parties, play football and just code!
