Rakhi Sachdeva shared thisI didn’t win the Women in Tech Employer Awards last night. I was nominated alongside 15 incredible women in the Outstanding Advocate for Women in Tech category. All these women are doing some amazing work in this space. Of course, it would have been lovely to bring home the trophy and be on the stage. But sometimes the real win is getting to a moment where even being nominated feels like a celebration and an achievement. I came away from the evening feeling genuinely energised. And perhaps with a little more fire in my belly to do more. I want to be back there next year, I really really do but I want to get there knowing I’ve done things I’m incredibly proud of and more importantly, that they are making a difference and helping close the gender gap. I don’t know whether that’s the maturity that comes with age and experience (I seriously think its one of the signs of aging😄) or maybe I’ve genuinely grown to find more inspiration in the incredible people around me. Either way, I’m choosing to consider this a win❤️ Many congratulations to everyone who won last night and especially the fabulous HMRC team for taking home Best Public Sector Employer trophy. So pleased that I got to celebrate in style with them and met so many amazing incredible women. #WomeninTech #WomeninTechEmployerAwards Dena Habashi-Ayub CITP ChPP MBCS MAPM Josh Elliott Chartered MCIPD Jacinta AmunE Susana Shawkat Krystyn Onaivi and the unforgettable Nikki Hollis ❤️

Rakhi Sachdeva shared thisStuart Ridout is looking for roles focused on AI transformation, adoption and change, helping organisations make AI feel practical, accessible and easy to adopt. I've had the privilege of working with Stu and can personally recommend him. If you're looking for someone who combines strategy, execution and is the most amazing colleague then I'd encourage you to reach out to him directly. If you have any interesting opportunities or leads, please let me know or get in touch with him.Rakhi Sachdeva shared this👋🏻 A plea for help for some personal news. After nine years at Microsoft, being recognised as a top achiever with Gold Club and countless amazing projects, my role has gone in a restructure. My last day is 13 November, so I'm looking for what's next. ❤️ I've loved the work. I helped a leading British airline turn a misaligned AI vision into an agent platform worth seven figures a year, with the whole C-suite in the room. I built Promptathon, where hundreds of people at a time rethink their own jobs with AI in a single day. One UK bank found £4M of savings before home time. And 'Prompt Buddy', a prompt library I started on the side ended up being used by 8,000+ organisations. 💡 I've helped so many people get to grips with technology and love the aha! moment when it comes to life. My superpower is translating between the tech and the non-tech people. The part I care about is the human side of change: getting people to actually use the new thing, and still be using it a year later. 🤝 Outside work I lead on AI and technology for Milton Keynes Scouts, and I build apps in the evenings because I can't help myself. 🙏🏻 So here's the ask. I'm looking for roles leading AI transformation, adoption and change, where the job is making AI stick across an organisation. Director or Head of level, in-house or consulting, London, Milton Keynes or remote. I want the right role. I'd also like to keep paying the mortgage, so I'm not holding out for a unicorn. If you know of something, or someone I should talk to, I'd be really grateful for an intro. Likes and shares help too. They put this in front of people I don't know yet. I've loved working at Microsoft with amazing people like Matt Kitson, Helen Wilson, Daniel Langton, Soraya Scott, Majella Devlin, Alkesh Ladva, Tatiana Arventi, Zane Freame, Charles Eales, Stuart McCarthy, Edward Cook, Rakhi Sachdeva, Kwadwo Benko, Jack Lauricourt, Matteo Pagani, Dona Sarkar, Chris Huntingford, Heather Jones, Elena Córdova, Emma Ledger ... the list goes on and on. It's been great working with my most current team Rob Smithson, Craig Fellowes, Anniek van der Ven, Carole Sénéchal, Cécile Schuster, Khurram Zaki, Luba Manolova, Maria Luisa Onorato, Michele Genova-Nguyen, Olga Barkova, Tarik Al-Ani and Zinaida Kudrina Apologies if I missed you out. Massive thanks to Craig 'Lewy' Lewis and Jo Johnstone for advising me to write this post and Matt and Helen for pushing me to be vulnerable and do it. Not so much 'Open to work' as 'Seeking next opportunity' Thanks, and onwards. Stuart

Rakhi Sachdeva shared thisHave you heard of the 15-80-5 framework? I recently heard Gary Vaynerchuk talk about it and interestingly he also mentioned how AI is following this pattern too. So here it is this through an AI lens, as there are still so many of us who are unsure how to start using AI and drive value. ✅ Start with 15% This is where you spend time with your AI assistant / teammate / whatever you want to call it, obsess over the little details and make sure you don’t let it make assumptions. The key is to spend time here and: Give it your thinking. Your creative ideas. Tell it what good looks like. The more context you give it upfront, the less time you’ll spend fine-tuning the output later. ✅80% — Let it do the job This is where AI does the heavy lifting. Let it research and Pull things together. Structure your thoughts. Create the first draft. Get you from a blank page to something you can actually work with. ✅5% — Make it very you. This is the fun and my favourite part. Tweak it. Change the tone. Add your personal examples. Challenge it and Take things out. Whatever you do, just Make sure to put your personality back in. I see this everyday and the more I work this way, the better it gets at understanding how I think and what I like. So if you’re still wondering: “But how is AI actually going to help me at work or in my personal life?” This 80% here is your answer. The value isn’t necessarily in AI producing the best outcome. It’s in taking on the 80% of the work that doesn’t need to be uniquely you. Would love to know your thoughts on this? PS: This photo has absolutely nothing to do with the framework but it’s one of my favourites from our recent offsite, where the human connection was as always the best part.

Rakhi Sachdeva posted thisAnother fantastic opportunity to join the Microsoft UK team as AI Workforce Solution Area Specialist - Local & Devolved Government Read more about the role - https://lnkd.in/e34vcrQi This is such an amazing role and if I am completely honest, the core skill needed in this job is your ability to translate AI into clear citizen outcomes. Your experience in public sector will be the icing on the cake. Councils and devolved administrations face the same challenges as other businesses with budgets being tight, roles getting harder to fill and rising citizen demand. AI is genuinely becoming a real part of the answer and is demonstrating some real wins with cutting admin burden and giving time back to frontline teams so a fab opportunity for you to be part of the team who is driving this transformation. Drop me a message. Happy to chat informally before you apply. #Microsoft #Hiring #PublicSector #LocalGovernment #AI #FutureOfWork Paul McPherson

Rakhi Sachdeva posted thisWhat happens when your child gets sick over the weekend? Let me share what happens in our household and I would love to know if it resonates at all… Suddenly I find myself in full sales mode, pitching to my husband why my Monday is more important than his to activate Plan A😂 This is where I find myself making statements like: “I’ve got this really important meeting that I’ve been trying to arrange for months…” “I can’t really miss this one as XYZ is then going on holiday soon…” “I can only do the afternoon unless you want to take a full day off…” 🙈 And whilst I have no clarity if Plan A will work, I start prepping for Plan B. 👀Which meetings can I move? ❓Who in the team could cover me? I hate that my brain goes to these plans so quickly. But thinking of it now, even though I don’t have the flexibility of a gymnast, at least my brain has😂 Does anyone else feel like this? Please don’t tell me I am alone in this camp.

Rakhi Sachdeva shared thisThere are so many amazing civil servants in my network doing incredible work with AI and driving meaningful transformation. Sharing this for visibility so we can help surface, capture and share more of these inspiring stories. UK Civil ServiceRakhi Sachdeva shared this🚀Happy #FCSFriday! How do we equip government leaders to lead the digital transformation of public services? By putting the tech directly in their hands. Last week marked the launch of our new hands-on AI Masterclasses for the Civil Service Leadership Group. Delivered as part of the Future Civil Service Programme, No 10 Innovation Fellows, and the No 10 Data Science team, these interactive sessions move beyond theory into hands-on practice. Senior leaders across government are gaining practical experience in working with AI tools safely and responsibly, so that they can support their teams, and make informed decisions about what new technology can do to deliver for the public. The key takeaway? How to harness opportunity while mitigating risk so that we use AI responsibly. Delivering modern, efficient public services requires continuous learning at every level. By building practical capability at the top, we are strengthening our collective ability to serve the public effectively. But our senior leaders are just part of the picture, and later this year we will be rolling out our annual training initiative for all civil servants, ‘One Big Thing’. This year’s theme is ‘AI in Action,’ which will deliver practical training on how to use AI safely across the entire Civil Service. How is your team building innovation and AI capability this year? If you're a civil servant working in a new way, using technology and AI responsibly to solve problems or improving existing processes, share your story via our FCS in Action portal on the FCS website: https://lnkd.in/eSFtwWui #FutureCivilService #Leadership #DigitalTransformation #AI

Rakhi Sachdeva liked thisRakhi Sachdeva liked thisToday, I close an incredible chapter of my life. After four unforgettable years at Microsoft, today is my last day. When I look back, the biggest thing I take away isn’t a role, a title or a list of achievements. It is how much I have learnt, grown and evolved. The learning has genuinely been leaps and bounds. I’ve loved being close to customers, understanding their challenges and concerns, solving problems, finding the right solutions and, most importantly, earning the opportunity to become a trusted adviser. There is something incredibly rewarding about knowing that a customer trusts you to help them navigate a challenge and move forward with confidence. These four years have also taught me what sales excellence truly means. It isn’t simply about selling. It is about listening, understanding, creating value, building trust, collaborating and showing up for your customers and your team. But Microsoft has been so much more than work. The team lunches, outings, laughter, celebrations, conversations, coaching from incredible managers, support from colleagues and that wonderful sense of team togetherness have created memories I will carry with me for a very long time. I leave with immense gratitude for every manager who coached me, every colleague who supported and challenged me, every customer who trusted me, and every person who played a part in this journey. Thank you. ❤️ I’m leaving Microsoft with a heart full of fond memories, a mind full of learning, and genuine excitement for what comes next. Sometimes closing one remarkable chapter gives you the courage to start writing an entirely new one. Thank you, Microsoft, for an incredible four years. For the learning. For the people. For the friendships. For the memories. And most importantly, for helping me grow into the person I am today. 💙 Onwards to the next chapter.... Thank you ALL & Thank you MICROSOFT.... Rakhi Sachdeva reacted on thisRakhi Sachdeva reacted on thisStill buzzing from last night! 🏆 Generation UK & Ireland was named Leading Training Provider at the Women in Tech Awards 👏 Women are still significantly underrepresented in tech. At Generation, we're working to change that by supporting people who've faced barriers to employment into careers they might never have had access to. Our women-focused cohorts exist because talent isn't the problem. Access is. Since 2019, over 1,200 women have trained with us, and more than 65% have moved into work. 💪 This award belongs to our incredible team, our learners, and the employers who believe in them. I feel really lucky to work somewhere that's making real change. Tatiana Leonova, so great to experience this moment with you! 🥂. Callie Cooper, Emily Irwin so lovely to finally meet 💙. If you're an employer looking for fresh, diverse tech talent, or you know someone ready for a career change, I'd love to connect. 💬 #WomenInTech #Generation #TechCareers #DiversityAndInclusion #CareerChange

Exciting times ahead in enterprise AI! I just read the new blog post by Microsoft Foundry, which outlines how organisations can move from mere concept to production-ready multi-agent systems. Key take-aways: • Agents are evolving from content generation tools to active participants in workflows — enabling task execution and process automation across business logic. • The process is broken down neatly into three phases: – #Design: Use low-code workflows in Foundry to visualise how agents and business logic interplay. – #Develop: Bridge the gap between the visual canvas and production-quality code with the VSCode extension for developers. – #Deploy: Use the Agent Framework runtime to promote YAML workflow definitions into real applications — configuration + code = production-ready. • Real-world scenario: A recruitment process was used as a grounding example, with distinct “Recruiter Agent” and “Applicant Agent” interacting under orchestration via the workflow. Why it matters: In my work designing high-availability systems, hybrid infrastructures and orchestrating cloud services, this pattern rings true — the steps from conceptual design → developer code → scalable deployment are exactly the blueprint needed for AI / multi-agent systems that must work at enterprise scale. The integration of low-code + developer experience + runtime orchestration fits well with the multi-cloud, production-oriented mindset I carry. If you’re exploring how to bring AI agents into your business processes (especially in an enterprise/cloud context), this article is worth a read.
