Amir Hever shared thisThe scan is the most visible part of UVeye, but it is only the tip of the iceberg. Dear LinkedIn friends and UVeye clients - every month I’m going to share a few of the product developments we’re rolling out, what we’re working on, and hopefully get some feedback from you along the way Here’s what shipped this month, all focused on saving dealers time, removing manual work and increasing ROI. 1. Instant VDP Promo Banners: Dealers can add offers and promotional messaging directly onto UV360 exterior images - helping move vehicles from Scan to Sold without another design step. 2. Exclude Repeat VINs: Dealers can now count each VIN once within a rolling 30-day window, giving teams a much cleaner view of scanner utilization and real ROI. 3. Smarter Inventory Filters: New filters make it much faster to find the vehicles that need attention. Less scrolling, less digging, faster action. 4. Apollo on Android: Our interior scanner and phone app (Apollo) is now available directly through Google Play, making it easier for more dealership teams to use it wherever the work happens. 5. Free Marketing Hub for Dealers: Pick your OEM, add your dealership logo and instantly create branded showroom, social and marketing assets. Logo in, asset out. And we’re already seeing what removing manual work can mean in practice. I want to spotlight Emich Kia in Denver, moving merchandising photography to UVeye helped reduce average vehicle listing time from seven days to one, while saving the dealership $2,000–$3,000 every month. That’s really what we’re trying to build toward - connecting everything from Service to Sales while taking manual work away from dealership teams and creating measurable value for the business. Huge credit to our product and R&D teams who keep listening to customers and pushing the experience forward. Full September update in the first comment.

Amir Hever shared thisAbout two and a half years ago, I met Ryan LaFontaine and asked him a simple question: how can UVeye be a great partner to you? His answer stuck with me: “Tell me how this can help my customers and make their experience better.” Today, we cut the ribbon on a rollout across 40+ LaFontaine Automotive Group locations throughout Michigan. The group is now opening vehicle scans to the wider Michigan community. To me, this is what adopting new technology should look like. Not technology for its own sake, but technology that creates a better experience, builds trust and becomes genuinely useful to people. We’re proud to be part of that journey - and of a future where getting your vehicle scanned can become as simple and accessible as driving through for a cup of coffee.

Amir Hever shared thisBringing us closer to our vision of understanding the real-time condition of any vehicle and connecting intelligence across the entire mobility ecosystem. A huge credit to our hardware, AI, operations, and field teams who made this happen.Amir Hever shared thisWe are officially expanding our automated vehicle inspection technology into the commercial trucking sector through a new partnership with Mesilla Valley Transportation. As one of North America's largest privately owned transportation companies, MVT operates thousands of trucks and trailers across the United States, Mexico and Canada. By deploying our automated drive-thru systems, they are shifting away from traditional, manual walk-arounds. UVeye performs a complete 360-degree scan to instantly flag underbody, tire, mechanical and exterior defects. This creates an objective, visual and timestamped digital record of fleet health, allowing MVT to protect uptime, eliminate guesswork and reduce liability before a truck ever leaves the yard. Amir Hever liked thisI have some news to share - my amazing, happy, fun, challenging, and fulfilling role at the Avis Budget Group concludes today after a fantastic four years. I am super proud of and indebted to the technology, global operations, and the senior leadership teams for coming together to drive the cultural and technology transformation needed to usher in a new era for the company. Together, we achieved world class systems reliability and performance, deployed brand new mobile and desktop digital platforms, consolidated global data warehouses, launched new products to serve customers better, and built/deployed meaningful AI solutions across our business and technology functions. Needless to say, any transformation traverses significant phases, and with the incredible foundation we’ve created, the next phases of transformation will be well within reach to drive greater and sustained business outcomes. A huge shout out to Jeff Kaelin, Bhupesh Menon, Sanna Daalder, Aynsley Toole and Edward Keenan Jr. on my leadership team, and the entire technology team for their invaluable contributions in driving the agenda. Thank you Margareth Tapia, Grace Bunsa, Laura Lirio (Robles), Heidi Myers, and Kevin Richards for your awesome support over the last 4 years. A tip of my hat to Ned Linnen, John O'Neill, Anna Maria Pawlak Kuliga, Srinivas Rajagopal, Jean Sera, Calabria, David, Daniel C., Gianluca Testa, Alfredo Hernandez Peña, Rafael González Galván, Beth Gibson, and Brian Choi on the Avis Senior Leadership Team for their leadership, guidance, friendhsip and unwavering support. Finally, a massive thanks to Jagdeep Pahwa, Karthik Sarma, and Bernardo Hees for placing their trust in me! It was what this kind of technology could make possible in Washington State. 💡 Washington already has an established network of privately operated vehicle licensing subagents providing title and registration services with the WADOL. Driver licensing, however, remains a separate state-operated, tax payer funded service. Why not eventually combine them? CHAMP’s 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗸𝟯𝟲𝟬 is designed to bring driver services through IDLS and vehicle transactions through VTAS — Vehicle Title and Registration System into ONE clerk-facing workspace. Imagine qualified Washington subagents being authorized and trained to handle both driver licensing and vehicle licensing from the same privately operated office. That could mean: • One-stop service for customers • Better use of Washington’s existing private licensing infrastructure • Fewer duplicative public-facing facilities • Expanded opportunities for private licensing businesses • Potentially lower taxpayer costs associated with maintaining a separate state-operated driver licensing network To me, that is the exciting part of DMV modernization. The taxpayers burden replaced by private industry is a win-win! Modern technology can create an opportunity to rethink how licensing services are delivered altogether. #IDLS #WAVS #DMVModernization #CHAMP #Clerk360

Amir Hever liked thisAmir Hever liked thisI founded Ottopia to save lives on the road. A call for help on October 7 took that mission to the battlefield. Responding to that call expanded our work from software into complete systems, drawing on our experience with OEMs and autonomy leaders worldwide. We already understood that dependable autonomy means recognizing when a system reaches its limits and enabling a person to intervene and keep the mission moving. Over the past two years, we’ve made a major leap forward in autonomy through our Hybrid AI approach, combining autonomous capabilities with human judgment and precise remote intervention. Applying our supervised autonomy to defense revealed a global need: helping militaries carry out dangerous missions with less risk to humans. When I first met the Ondas team earlier this year, something clicked. At least on my side, and I now have convincing evidence it was mutual. I recognized a familiar DNA: ambition, urgency and a willingness to get into the details and make things work. Their “Bots Before Boots” vision reflected what was driving us too. Working together felt like a natural next step. Today, Ondas Inc. is acquiring Ottopia’s defense business, and I am joining Ondas to lead Ottopia Defense. Our shared vision is to enable unmanned military power at scale: autonomous systems working together across domains, with people commanding, supervising and intervening when needed. Joining Ondas gives us the opportunity to bring that vision to a very, very broad range of platforms and missions. Ottopia will continue independently in civilian Physical AI, led by Paul Kandel as Managing Director and Alex Kirshon as CTO. I know their talent, judgment and dedication firsthand. Alex and Paul are exceptional people who care deeply about this company, and I’m proud to hand them the reins. With Physical AI expanding rapidly, they and the team have an enormous opportunity ahead. To our people, both those joining me at Ondas and those continuing at Ottopia: you built the technology, earned our customers’ trust and made this possible. I’m deeply proud of you. To our Board and Shareholders, thank you for your trust and support along the way. And to my wife, Liora Rosenzweig: thank you for your love and steady support through every turn. I’m grateful to have you beside me. I’m excited to build with the Ondas team and to see Ottopia thrive under Alex and Paul. More soon!

DealerOps

The strongest dealership teams share one thing in common: clarity. When everyone is working from the same data, aligned on priorities, and able to add context along the way, better decisions follow. DealerOps brings teams onto the same page by turning reporting into a shared conversation. With clear dashboards and the ability to add notes directly within reports, insights don’t get lost—and questions don’t have to wait for another meeting. Because when data is easy to understand and communication is built in, teams can move faster, collaborate better, and focus on driving results. #automotive #data #analytics #automotivereporting #GSD

Welcome to NADA. As dealers gather to talk growth, risk deserves equal attention. Together with our partners at IDScan.net clear signals are emerging across automotive workflows. • 22.5% of auto transactions verified through CheckMy Driver involved a fake ID or insurance coverage that was inactive, inaccurate, or inadequate. • Those gaps expose dealers, rental and loaner fleets, service departments, and financial institutions to preventable loss. • Combining advanced ID scanning with real time insurance verification surfaces risk before vehicles leave the lot. Insurance and Identity Verification belong in one workflow! (Super important message!!!!) NADA is the right place to have this conversation. #Modives #CheckMyDriver #IDScan #NADA2026Show

CDK Global Payment Remittance Announcement 📢 For dealers running on CDK, closing the loop on AP just got easier. Yooz has launched CDK Payment Remittance (currently in Beta), extending the integration on the Fortellis Automotive Commerce Exchange Marketplace to automatically sync payment and remittance details directly into CDK Accounting. Dealers no longer need to manually update their paid status after invoices are approved, a task that previously required duplicate entry and created gaps in audit records. With this integration, dealerships gain: ✔️ End-to-end visibility from invoice approval through payment ✔️ Stronger financial controls and audit readiness ✔️ Elimination of thousands of manual keystrokes ✔️ Clearer real-time insight into where payments actually stand Checkout the full article here 👉 https://hubs.la/Q042Vw7n0 As Pam Cichoke, Head of YoozPay Sales, said, this integration is about “finishing the loop for dealers” and giving finance teams the clarity they need without switching systems. #AutomotiveFinance #APAutomation #LeanFinancialOperations #CDKGlobal #DealerFinance #Yooz

Agentic AI is a term we’re hearing more and more. But what does it actually mean and why is it something dealers should understand now, not later? This new blog from our US colleagues breaks down agentic AI in plain English, and explains how it goes beyond a single chatbot to coordinate multiple tasks as one joined-up customer conversation. "Think of a standard AI or automated application like a single employee trying to man the phones for sales, service, parts, and finance all at once. They might be good, but they will eventually drown. "Agentic AI changes the game. It isn’t one overwhelmed bot. It’s a coordinated team of specialized agents within a single, centralized platform. Each agent has a specific job." Scroll down and click the link to learn more.

If your dealership tech stack feels broken, Jason says there’s a reason—and the fix starts way upstream. In this episode, the crew sits down with Jason Tryfon, long-time automotive tech operator and now one of the leaders at Authenticom, the data connectivity company quietly powering huge chunks of the auto ecosystem. Jason walks through his “dinosaur” journey from carrying a bag at ADP/CDK to launching Vital Insights in 2005, scaling it to 52 countries on the back of simple service surveys that replaced paper mirror hangers. Along the way he learned to speak dealer, field, and OEM—and how that fluency became a superpower when data started to shape customer experience and program design at the national and global level. From there, the conversation zooms out. Jason breaks down why U.S. dealers have historically gotten away with massive PMAs and “more customers behind them,” how markets like Canada and Germany were forced to obsess over customer experience earlier, and why the industry is now in what he calls the “expectation economy.” He explains the shift from manual to automated, reactive to predictive—and why we’ve probably activated less than 10% of our data’s actual potential. Authenticom isn’t just a vendor, it’s the backbone layer that lets vendors, OEMs, and dealers move data, spot problems upstream, and avoid that “rib out” pain in the ecosystem that only shows up when everything downstream starts breaking.
