There is nothing quite like being on the ground and feeling the energy in FedEx facilities around the world.
Last week in Mexico, I observed (and admired!) the outstanding collaboration happening across LAC Commercial and Operations on behalf of FedEx customers. Mexico is not only an essential hub for Latin America and the Caribbean; it is also a central engine helping drive the evolution of international supply chains.
A few highlights from my time with the FedEx team in Toluca and Mexico City:
✈️ Seeing the network in action: We toured our Toluca International Airport gateway and National Hub, where shipments from 12 of Mexico’s 32 states are handled with speed, precision, and care.
💜 Celebrating our people: We presented the FedEx Five Star, Shining Star, President’s, and Ambassador’s Awards during a town hall. Meeting team members and hearing about their passion for delivering the Purple Promise is always the best part of my travels.
🤝 Connecting with customers: We met with local business leaders to talk about where their businesses are heading and how FedEx can help them move with pace in an evolving market. Those conversations are incredibly valuable as we develop solutions for shipments that are complex, temperature-sensitive, bulky, fragile — the more challenging it is, the more innovative the solution. It’s important and exciting work, especially for customers in automotive, aerospace, AI/data centers, and healthcare industries.
To our incredible team at FedEx Mexico: thank you for the warm welcome, your hospitality, and your relentless commitment to making every customer experience outstanding!
