Safety training doesn't have to be boring to be serious. Our social media manager tried Amazon's Slip, Trip, and Fall Simulator at our DDE6 Last Mile Driver Academy in Colorado: a glass floor sprayed with water, a harness for safety, and a technique real delivery drivers train on to stay steady in icy conditions. It looks funny, but is actually one of the most requested trainings by Delivery Service Partner drivers, many of whom say the small-steps balance technique helps them off the clock too, not just on their routes. Small skills, big difference when the roads (and sidewalks) get slick.
I placed an order through Amazon on 19th of August and I received the same product on 22nd but I received the product in different colours and the cushions were missing as this was the sofa come bed and the same time I called the Amazon customer support and asked them to place a return as there was no option available on the Amazon application to return or replace that product, then the Amazon customer support created a return and given me the date for the return which was 23rd of August then it delayed and reschedule it to 25th of August again it delayed and reschedule it again to 28th of August again it delayed and then again it reschedule it to 1st of September and then again they reschedule it to 3rd of September On all the given dates for the return I took an off from my workplace because I live alone and I waited the whole day just for a call so that I can return this because I live in a tiny apartment and I don't have space to keep something which is not useful for me But no one ever called me neither the delivery person nor the Amazon. If no one ever came to pick this up so while should I return this to I even called Amazon on all the given dates when this was not picked up as the return timings were 8:00AM to 10:00 p.m.
Or you guys could actually get out there and do the work we make the associates do… I did when I was in safety. It helps you better understand what they deal with on the day to day. This is just silly and does very little when it comes to assisting them. This is a fun activity to see what slipping around on a surface feels like and has no value at all when it comes to the EHS teams at the site level. Fun does not equate to actionable/beneficial change.
Funny is probably underrated in safety training. 😄 If people actually remember the lesson months later when the sidewalk turns into an ice rink, the training did its job.
Oh, I remember that the harness gave me a wedgy as which harnesses I passed that test for flying colors
lol
I waited the whole day on all the given dates and took off from my workplace but then when it never got picked up, then I called Amazon after 10PM then they rescheduled it every time. But in the last two conversations with Amazon customer support on 1st of September and 3rd of September the gave me a fake consolation that now I don't need to return the product and I will get the refund by 6th of September Today is the 7th of September, I am contacting Amazon customer support they are misbehaving and saying that according to our investigation you are the one who refused to return it and I was like, Excuse me? I took off on all the given dates by you for the return my salary got deducted and I waited the whole day just to return this. I am even requesting you right now to come and pick it up because I don't have space to keep it I asked What investigation? Show me the calls when you call me and asked for the return I never got a single call regarding return But they declined the call and said we don't have any resolution They were actually behaving rude They misguided me They gave me fake consolations I'm a prime member I did major purchases in the past But... Amazon is a big fraud Amazon is theif
dont buy from amazon , they are scammers i bought things from them and they didnt delivered it and they didnt cancel the order and they mark it as delivered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, I’m reaching out because customers in Turkey currently seem to have no reliable way to contact Amazon customer service. The live chat gives an error, the “Call Me” option is unavailable, and I’m unable to get support by phone either. How are customers in Turkey supposed to resolve urgent issues? I would really appreciate it if someone from Amazon could look into this and provide a working support channel.
Robot training platform? Recording all the human users doing it as training data might not be a bad idea. Are the humans wearing sensors too like mo cap?
