So the code layer addresses the use of a screen reader. That might cover the disabilities which cover vision deficiency, but that is but one disability that Accessibility is intended to address. Neurological conditions such as epilepsy - which can be triggered by the visual elements of the website - are also covered, and an image could trigger a perfectly sighted individual, so it's both.
Just… please be carefully and make all your fun new designs accessible.

Creative effect. My first thought, though, was accessibility/WCAG. Fast flashing animations can be difficult—or even unsafe—for some users. Curious whether this was reviewed against WCAG guidance before being published?
