Google Public Sector’s Post

🌍 Scaling AI for Global Progress at #UNGA2026 Access to technology means nothing without the skills to use it. At the AI for Global Progress event, ahead of the UN General Assembly High-level Week 2026, Google Public Sector invited customers to join us on stage. Organizations like the UNDP, The World Bank Group, and others showcased the incredible AI solutions they’re building to help move their missions forward. In addition, Google Public Sector presented how we’re working with Google DeepMind, Google.org funding, and Google Cloud infrastructure to close the AI skills gap worldwide: 🌱 200M farmers empowered — a $100M joint commitment with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation brings real-time climate, crop, and language AI tools to smallholder farmers across Sub-Saharan Africa & South Asia. 📚 6M educators equipped — a $4M Google.org grant to Digital Promise expands the Google AI Educator Series to K-12 and higher-ed faculty across the U.S. 💼 100K scholarships delivered — with the UN's International Telecommunication Union, the Google AI Literacy Hub brings Grow with Google Career Certificates to 80+ countries.
