Getting to #1 on Google feels great… until nothing actually changes. No leads. No calls. No growth. Here’s why that happens—and what to fix first. 💡https://lnkd.in/eJS6xywu

Google Pulls the Plug on Tenor GIF API, Hitting X and Discord. → That arrangement lasted until January 2026, when Google stopped accepting new Tenor integrations. → Then the hammer dropped: June 30, the API endpoints went dark. → This isn't a cost cutting move; it's a strategic boredom decision. → That's a feature people actually use daily. Full story in the first comment.

Man, the Go team at Google is really delivering !!!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 Amazing Go 1.26 release updates. Can't wait to dive in ! synctest, Green Tea GC, go fix, faster CGO bindings, and so on !!! Extremely well thought out, minimalist, and super convenient. Their direction, IMO, is solid, and critical production systems prove it !! 👏 The future for programming in Go is genuinely exciting !!

Directories get dismissed a lot. Low traffic, low quality, not worth the time. That math is wrong if you're playing the long game. A well-placed directory listing is a backlink that compounds. It doesn't spike. It builds over months. For an indie product with no PR budget, that compounding adds up in places Google eventually notices. What's actually moving traffic for your project right now? Curious what the early-stage distribution stack looks like across makers building in 2026.

Google's May Core Update is finally done. 👀 And now comes the mistake most SEOs make. Checking rankings immediately. 😂 Every core update, I see people celebrating wins or panicking over losses before the rollout even settles. This update was different. Many SEOs called it much stronger than March. Some sites surged. Some sites dropped. And volatility was everywhere. But here's the interesting part. Google is telling us to wait. Not one day. Not three days. At least a full week after the rollout ends. Why? Because what happened on May 24 might mean something completely different than what happened on June 2. One thing I've learned: The best SEOs don't react first. They analyze first. Sometimes patience is the real ranking factor. 🚀

Google launched Google Colab CLI, so users/agents can manage remote Colab sessions easily. It's crazy how we are going back from UIs to CLI's thanks to agents.
