AI video just got a reality check. We're hosting a hands-on technical workshop in San Francisco, and it’s not your average AI meetup. Think elite developers. Live pipelines. A room where you actually break, test, and build with the tech instead of just watching a slide deck. If you’re building in multimodal AI, video synthesis, or agentic workflows, you belong here. We'll be pushing HappyHorse-1.0 to its absolute limits. Hosted by GLO (Global Entrepreneurs Hub) & OWOW. Backed by OWOW’s elite ML talent network. Come build. Come test. Come see where multimodal pipelines are going next. June 2 | 5:30 PM San Francisco Spots are limited. Link in the comment 👇 Gangesh Pathak Eli Al-Shamari Monica Claros Cynthia Y. DeepTech isn’t just another word for AI. At the London kickstart event for Cambridge Tech Week 2026 yesterday a repeated theme was that DeepTech is broader with a wider range of interest. AI might fall under the umbrella of DeepTech, but it includes other tech too. As well as AI the focus of Cambridge Tech Week will be on Quantum, HealthTech and MedTech. A key takeaway was that the question is no longer what can be invented, but how technologies are powered, deployed, governed and scaled to deliver real-world benefits. From an investment perspective, this shifts the focus. From a patent perspective, however, this doesn’t reduce the opportunity. If anything it reframes it. There are still problems to solve, still technical challenges, and still patentable inventions. Another way of putting it is that DeepTech is moving from a science phase to an engineering phase. Looking forward to seeing how these themes play out at Cambridge Tech Week in September. Thanks to Cambridge Tech Week, the discussion panel of Oli Barrett, Emilie Syed, Max Bautin and Priya Guha MBE, hosts Warren Tucker and Simon De Young of PwC, and Dominick Peasley of SPRK Capital. #CambridgeTechWeek #DeepTech #MedTech #HealthTech #AI #Quantum #IP #Patents

"David George, General Partner at a16z, and David Clark, CIO at VenCap, discuss how AI is reshaping venture capital and the technology industry itself. They examine why today’s AI companies are scaling faster than any previous generation of startups, and why the eventual outcomes may be significantly larger than most investors currently expect. The conversation covers frontier AI models, coding agents, open source competition, data center constraints, and who ultimately captures value in the AI ecosystem. They also discuss what these shifts mean for venture capital itself, including larger company outcomes, faster value creation, and the growing challenge of identifying durable winners in a market evolving at unprecedented speed." DeepSeek has reportedly raised $7.4 billion in its first external funding round, marking a major milestone in the frontier AI race. The company spent years operating without outside capital, but the scale of modern AI development increasingly depends on massive investments in compute infrastructure. The fresh funding will support infrastructure expansion and talent acquisition as competition intensifies globally. The broader pattern is becoming clear: regardless of geography or model strategy, every frontier AI company eventually reaches a point where compute demand outgrows self-funded resources. Infrastructure has become the defining constraint of advanced AI development. #DeepSeek #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #StartupFunding #Compute #Infrastructure #Tech #CredX

Knowing how to operate something and knowing how it works are not the same thing. In our recent Acceler8ing Tomorrow webinar, Matthew Ferdenzi sat down with Deniz Z., Research Engineer at Fleet AI, Inc., to explore what actually makes an AI agent work. If you joined us, thank you. If you missed it, here's what came out of the conversation. ➡️ The biggest shift in this session was understanding how agents actually learn. Not from datasets. Not from being told what to do. From interaction, reward, and practice inside environments that mirror the real world. Save this post if you found this useful. More insights from the session dropping soon. #Acceler8 #StartupTech #ReinforcementLearning #AIAgents

Two inspiring days at the EDGE AI FOUNDATION Conference in London are now behind us, and we're leaving energized by the conversations, insights, and momentum around the future of AI at the edge. The event gave us the opportunity to showcase how Embedl helps companies deploy more efficient AI by minimizing hardware requirements whilst still maintaining high performance and low latency. Throughout the conference, we had many valuable discussions with organizations seeking smarter, more sustainable ways to bring AI products to market. A highlight of the conference was Hans Salomonsson and Pete Bernard sharing the Embedl journey and our vision for making AI optimization a fundamental part of every deployment strategy. As AI applications continue to expand, efficiency is becoming just as important as model accuracy. We were also excited to participate in the startup pitch competition, where Richard Savage presented how Embedl is already enabling Agentic AI on edge devices. He shared why we believe the next wave of AI innovation will happen closer to where data is generated and decisions are made. Thank you to the Edge AI Foundation and everyone who stopped by our booth, attended our sessions, or connected with our team. We look forward to continuing the discussions and helping accelerate the adoption of efficient AI at the edge. #EdgeAILondon #EdgeAI #AgenticAI #AIOptimization #EmbeddedSystems
