Ray passed 170 million downloads in a single quarter. That's 5x growth in one year. The keynote at Ray Summit 2026 covered what's behind that growth: organizations are moving from using models to building their own, and closing the loop so those models improve continuously. → Keerti Melkote on the shift from consuming AI to building AI, joined on stage by Nscale CEO Josh Payne → Robert Nishihara on what it actually takes to run a learning loop, from RL orchestration to weight sync → Customer keynotes from Lila Sciences CTO Andrew Beam, Torc Robotics Head of AI Felix Heide, and Inferact co-founder and CEO Simon Mo, lead maintainer of vLLM Read more on the path to owning your intelligence: https://lnkd.in/gNSeKBXh

On our Radar: The Information's "AI Deep Dive" The Information is launching a new weekly live show called "AI Deep Dive," focused on the technology behind the AI boom. Hosted by the outlet's AI reporter, Rocket Drew, the program airs Mondays at noon PT starting Sept. 14, with interviews and live conversations digging into the thornier technical problems facing AI, things like robotics. The show is the outlet's second major video launch, following its daily live show "TITV" last year. Chief advertising officer Lindsay Meech says the broader video push is pacing to become an eight-figure revenue business by 2027, with the entire first season of "AI Deep Dive" already sponsored by EY Consulting. Video has become a real growth lever for The Information, according to senior producer Sydnee Fried, and this latest show builds directly on that momentum. https://lnkd.in/gfVTDG7p

Automation and augmentation are often grouped together under the AI umbrella. According to Ori Marom, Program Manager, New Mobility Innovation at the Port of Rotterdam, that's where many organizations get it wrong. In this week's #shifthappens episode, Ori shares lessons from leading AI and robotics initiatives in one of the world's most complex operational environments, exploring why understanding the difference between automating work and empowering people is critical to scaling AI successfully. 🎙️ Tune in this Thursday. #AI #Innovation #FutureOfWork

We’re excited to be part of Arm Total Design for Physical AI program. Bringing Physical AI into manufacturing, robotics, and industrial environments requires seamless collaboration across the entire technology stack, from AI and software to compute and devices. Together with Arm and ecosystem partners, we're helping accelerate the development and deployment of optimized Physical AI solutions, enabling intelligent machines to operate more effectively in real-world industrial settings.
We’re bringing the physical AI ecosystem together. Today, we announced Arm Total Design for Physical AI, uniting an initial group of 80+ companies across the technology stack - with many more set to join - to accelerate how physical AI systems are developed, validated and brought to life. And that collaboration is already taking shape. One of the first initiatives is a Robotics Capability Framework, creating a common language for defining increasingly intelligent and capable robotic systems. As AI becomes more agentic, the next frontier is the physical world. By bringing the ecosystem together now, we can help define what comes next — and accelerate how quickly we get there. https://okt.to/pAaR5Z

We’re proud to have contributed to a Robotics Capability Framework alongside Arm and others across the robotics industry. As robots become more capable and operate in more complex real-world environments, there needs to be a clear way to describe what those capabilities actually mean. Without that shared understanding, it becomes harder to compare systems, build confidence and scale adoption. A Robotics Capability Framework is a practical starting point. It creates a common way to describe increasingly intelligent robotic systems while still giving companies the freedom to innovate and differentiate. We’re excited to have helped shape this work and to continue contributing as the framework evolves with the industry. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/etrvmpA8

I'm delighted to see Arm Total Design expand into Physical AI today, bringing together more than 80 companies across the ecosystem. Building the next generation of intelligent vehicles, robots and autonomous systems will require collaboration across the technology stack—and this is an important step towards making that happen.

We're proud to have contributed to the Robotics Capability Framework alongside Arm and other partners across the robotics ecosystem. As robots become more intelligent and move from demonstrations into complex, real-world industrial environments, the industry needs a shared language to describe and evaluate what these systems can actually do. This framework provides an important starting point—helping improve clarity, build confidence, and support the scalable adoption of intelligent robotics, while leaving room for companies to innovate and differentiate. At FMC³ Robotics, we look forward to continuing to contribute our perspective on industrial embodied AI as the framework evolves. #PhysicalAI #Robotics #EmbodiedAI #IndustrialAI #FMC3Robotics

Proud to be one of the 80+ companies part of Arm Total Design for Physical AI, and to have contributed to the Robotics Capability Framework alongside Arm and others across the industry. As robots become more capable, there needs to be a clear way to describe what those capabilities actually mean. This framework is a practical starting point, a shared language that supports how companies across the ecosystem innovate together instead of in silos. The Ability Hand runs on Arm's compute platform, and we're thrilled to help shape how it evolves 🦾 Tap the link to learn more: https://lnkd.in/etrvmpA8
