I’m not surprised! The Spotify HQ in Stockholm is the best office I’ve ever worked in. Cosy, spacious, amazing breakfast buffet, barista and good work stations. The people at Spotify are friendly, engaged, creative and very smart. I don’t see any company being able to compete with Spotify within music streaming - and that is just the core business. Well done Spotify!

Reading this, all I know is that I am satisfied with the decision I make every day to choose Spotify over other companies. Not only because of the innovation they bring to the market, but also because of the great values they promote with both their customers and employees.

I’m curious—from a leadership perspective, what specific initiative or cultural practice over the past year do you think had the biggest impact on keeping engineering and tech teams so engaged and empowered?

A strong culture is just as important as strong technology, especially in an industry where creativity and innovation have to move together. Recognition like this reflects the impact of investing in people and creating an environment where different perspectives can shape what comes next for music.

I may be a little late to the party, but I only discovered Spotify about three months ago and I’ve been really enjoying it ever since! Having lived and worked in three countries, Romania, the UK and now France, my music taste is a mix of all three, and Spotify has been a great way to keep them all connected. Congratulations to the whole team!

What an incredible achievement, congratulations to the entire Spotify band! 💚 What makes Spotify especially inspiring is how technology isn’t treated as a function working behind the scenes; it shapes the product, culture and way people experience music globally. When engineers, creatives, data experts and storytellers are encouraged to collaborate and experiment, innovation becomes part of everyday work. Ranking #13 is a powerful reflection of a culture where people can keep learning, challenge conventions and build experiences that genuinely connect artists and listeners. Very well deserved! 🎧👏

A strong culture is what makes talented people want to stay and do their best work.
