Solid day at the Google Cloud Security Innovations Forum 2026 in Sunnyvale. Thank you to the Google Cloud & C-Vision International team and Vineet Bhan Karun Malik Anisha Nanda Melanie Chew Vinod D'Souza Alison Humphries Kathy Pirogova for bringing together such a strong community of security leaders, builders, and partners, and for giving Cyberhaven the opportuånity to be part of the conversation. Siva I. - Great seeing you on the Panel at the event. One theme came through clearly for me: the next era of cybersecurity won’t simply be about securing AI. It will be about using AI to fundamentally change how security operates. As AI agents increasingly write code, access systems, move data, invoke tools, and make decisions at machine speed, security can’t remain a collection of human-driven workflows reacting after the fact. Our defenses need to become continuous, contextual, and increasingly autonomous as well. That’s what makes the partnership between Google Cloud and Cyberhaven particularly exciting. At the forum, we showcased Linea AI, Cyberhaven’s data security agents for the agentic enterprise. Linea combines Google’s Gemini models with Cyberhaven’s Large Lineage Model to reason about how data actually moves, classify sensitive information, investigate activity, identify risks that static policies may never anticipate, and help security teams respond at machine speed. I believe we’re moving toward an era where identity establishes who or what an agent is, runtime understands what it is doing, and data lineage understands what it is touching and why it matters. Bringing those signals together is how we build a true security data control plane for the agentic enterprise. The goal shouldn’t be to slow AI down so security can keep up. The goal is to reinvent security so trusted AI can move faster. Appreciate the partnership with Google Cloud and the opportunity to help build for the future. Special shoutout to - Manish Kalia Yang Zhang Kasi Annamalai Jack Peirano Katie Rathbun, MBA Cameron Galbraith Anil Kushwah. #Cybersecurity #GoogleCloud #LineaAI https://lnkd.in/g26WmN9P

  • AI changed how work gets done. It also changed where your sensitive data lives. Cyberhaven's integration with Claude's Compliance API gives security teams visibility into the data employees share with Claude Enterprise, classified against the policies you already run and traced back to its origin with data lineage. Seeing what's inside is one thing. Knowing where it came from is what makes it actionable. How it works: https://lnkd.in/gSSq23_Q

The Claude Compliance API now connects to more than 100 security and compliance products, including DLP, SIEM, identity, eDiscovery, and AI security platforms. Security teams can review Claude activity in the tools they already use to monitor the rest of the company. Depending on the integration, those tools can pull in conversations, files, and projects from Claude Enterprise, along with admin activity from Claude Enterprise and the Claude Platform. Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform customers can connect a supported security platform today. Security and compliance companies can apply to build an integration. • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) was built to watch processes and files. It was not built for AI agents, browser sessions, and the data they move. That's the gap Lawrence Pingree, Head of Research at Software Analyst Cyber Research (SACR), points to when he talks about why data lineage matters for AI-era investigations: context on where sensitive data originated, how it moved, and where it ended up. SACR's new CISO Guide to Endpoint Control and Prevention (ECP) maps this shift in full. It breaks endpoint defense into five zones beyond traditional EDR and names Cyberhaven a 2026 Major Player for data-centric enforcement. • It was a busy week for the Cyberhaven team on the road. We headed north for GoSec Conference 2026 in Canada, caught up with the AccessIT Group team on the golf course, and made the trip to Grand Rapids for GrrrCon. We even squeezed in a game at Arrowhead Stadium along the way with our partners at GuidePoint Security. Great conversations, great company, and a reminder that some of the best conversations about securing AI still happen in person.

  • "Data lineage is the record of where a piece of data came from and everything that has touched it since. It is the third anchor for data protection, standing alongside where the data sits and what it looks like. In practical terms, it is the data’s lifecycle made available for security teams. Lineage records a file's origin and every step it takes, so protection can key off where the data came from, not only where it currently sits or what it currently looks like." - Franklin Nguyen Read more of our Director of Product Marketing's insights into why lineage matters more than ever as AI tools become commonplace among enterprises: https://lnkd.in/g6XZ46VF

Most organizations know where their data is stored. Far fewer know where it goes after employees access it. That's why Softchoice partners with Cyberhaven. As AI initiatives expand, organizations are placing greater scrutiny on the thousands of files containing sensitive customer and financial information. Despite existing security controls, limited visibility into data movement often creates blind spots that increase the risk of unauthorized access, exposure, or misuse. With Cyberhaven, you can: ✅ Track the complete lineage of sensitive data ✅ Detect and stop risky data movement in real time ✅ Accelerate insider risk investigations ✅ Strengthen data governance before expanding AI initiatives Understanding how sensitive data moves across your environment is becoming a critical part of every security strategy. Cyberhaven helps organizations gain that visibility. Softchoice helps them turn it into action.
