Proud to join the Alliance for America’s Skilled Trades. AI is driving a once-in-a-generation infrastructure buildout, and America needs the skilled workforce to build it. The Alliance’s new report finds that America will need to fill 1.7 million skilled trades openings each year through 2035. We look forward to working together to help more Americans build the skills this moment demands.

At Ford Motor Company, we care a lot about the Essential Economy, which is the workers who build, fix, and maintain the physical world around us. These skilled trades are the backbone of American manufacturing and we need solutions for closing the skills gap, and providing the education and resources that will power the productivity and growth of the Essential Economy. Across industries and public and private sectors, we all need to work together. That's why this summer, Larry Fink from BlackRock, Ruth Porat from Alphabet Inc. & Google, Linda Hubbard from Carhartt, and I launched the Alliance for America's Skilled Trades. Among other goals, we wanted to build a shared, trusted foundation of data on the state of skilled trades across America. So today, in partnership with Jobs for the Future (JFF) and The Burning Glass Institute, we’re officially publishing — The State of America's Skilled Trades: A National Report https://lnkd.in/d9gr_DsU The report examines the forces shaping supply and demand across occupations and regions, to show where workforce systems are working well, where they're under strain, and where focused action can make the biggest difference. Alongside the report, we're launching America's Skilled Trades Dashboard — a first-of-its-kind interactive tool that makes the data accessible in one place. It breaks down the data by occupation and state, making it easy to explore local labor market conditions, identify where the need is greatest, and compare progress across regions. The dashboard is available at https://lnkd.in/d9gr_DsU We also set out to grow this movement. Today, we're welcoming new partners - AT&T, Barton Malow, Blackstone, Cintas, DEWALT, Dycom Industries, Inc, The Hershey Company, ManpowerGroup, Meta, Microsoft, Milwaukee Tool, NVIDIA, Verizon and Waymo. Each has already stepped up individually. Now we're stepping up together. We’ve launched NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform to help people control what AI agents can access and do. Agents can write code, use tools, and work on complex tasks for hours or days. That work requires access to data and systems, along with clear limits on how they’re used. NVIDIA OpenShell enforces permissions around the agent’s work. BlueField-4 and DOCA add independent monitoring and security controls in the infrastructure, outside the agent’s reach. Vera CPUs power the work itself. Together, these technologies give teams a foundation for putting agents to work with defined permissions, oversight, and protection. Explore the platform: https://nvda.ws/4hj9PqU

Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry. Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come. But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility.  NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform Reference Design combines NVIDIA OpenShell and NVIDIA Sentry. OpenShell is an open-source secure runtime that gives AI agents clear, enforceable boundaries. It traces their actions and enforces policy as they work. NVIDIA Sentry delivers added layer of security with hardware-based enforcement on NVIDIA BlueField, continuously monitoring agent activity through a trusted telemetry and detection pipeline and enabling millisecond-scale containment and quarantine. This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems. Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy. Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. https://nvda.ws/4hOkDx7

Ten years ago at NVIDIA GTC 2016, Jensen Huang introduced DGX-1, our first AI supercomputer. Since then, NVIDIA DGX has transformed from a single system into a blueprint for AI factories. What hasn’t changed is the reason why we build DGX: to test the systems and work through the details of interconnects, cooling, and software so our partners and customers have a proven foundation to build on. Charlie Boyle, our VP of DGX Systems, looks back at how DGX got its start, what’s changed, and what comes next. Thanks to everyone who’s been on this journey with us. #DecadeOfDGX

Research shared today can help scientists prepare for potential outbreaks. We’ve worked with Google DeepMind, European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI, and research partners worldwide to make AI-predicted protein complex structures for more than 2,800 viruses openly available through the AlphaFold Database. These predictions give researchers a starting point for studying viral proteins and identifying potential targets for vaccines and treatments. Read the story: https://lnkd.in/gsuyJNzP
