In the past year and half I’ve had the opportunity to work with (and hire!) some incredibly talented, kind people. When I joined Laravel in November 2024 all Laravel had was a public waitlist for Laravel Cloud, 40 full-time employees and a beloved brand. Today we have thousands of paying customers, a full marketing team, and over 100 employees. I’m incredibly proud of everything we built and I personally got to experience some firsts: launching a product from zero, building out several marketing functions, and committing changes directly to our main .com (with the help of Claude, ofc). A special thanks to Taylor Otwell & Thomas Crary for their trust and support. And to the team: Ana Margarida Tavares, Haley Madsen, Emilee Spencer, Abby Gilson, Chip Needham, Tim Wilson, Josh Cirre, Leah T., Christoph Rumpel, Karlie Shields, Tilly Tokdemir, Danielle Morrill, & Nohemi. This week produced a major milestone with a successful collaboration between my data & metrics agent, Mr. Radar, our owned & organic agent, Mother, and our experimentation owner, Dr. Jekyll. - Mother ran an analysis on the health of our owned properties - Mr. Radar prepared a data analysis from GSC & our internal data for Mother - Mother used Mr. Radar's analysis to change prioritization and did not overreact in areas a generic prompt might critique a page without context - Mother passed the context on to Dr. Jekyll, who generated a test-ready brief for an experiment based on the insights I'm really excited to continue building this out, as I have a handful more agents I plan to add to the roster. And yes, I love giving them alter-egos of caricatures. If you're building a team of agents, I'd love to hear your war stories and learnings.

Nick Parsons liked thisWe recently shipped a project called Sentry cookbook. It's new and I don't really have data yet, but the reasons behind it might interest you: → LLMs need instructions on how to use our product in conjunction with other tools (feels like everyone has an MCP and API now, the world has opened up) → We want to repurpose our content more. → There are new workflows popping up everywhere. People creating automated bots to catch & fix performance issues, people using Sentry to monitor Opencode/Claude. But not everyone knows about these yet. → Sentry ships a lot of new features and products that not every developer uses yet or knows exists. → We often end up promoting features/products, and not enough use cases or jobs to be done with them. → Traditional blogs aren't getting as many views and are now more about training LLMs So Cookbook helps with that: any workflow that could be genuinely useful, we can package as an individual "recipe" that shows you (or your agent) exactly how to do it, step by step. I feel like this concept could be something SaaS companies that integrate with other tools, or have APIs/MCPs, end up creating. It's similar to agent skills in a way, but it's also for people, can be indexed, internally linked, etc. Hoping we have some interesting AEO data on it soon to share.
