Today, Timex Group announced the launch of Timex Tales, an interactive storytelling experience using Google Gemini, designed to help parents and teachers guide children in learning how to read a traditional analog clock. ⏰ Through personalized adventures, generated by Nano Banana, children step into stories alongside a cast of playful characters, each guiding them through the moments of a day as time unfolds across imaginative worlds. Timex Tales allows each child to become the hero of their own time-learning adventure and build lasting confidence with analog time-telling, while maintaining a safe, family-focused experience. 🔗 Swipe through to see how it works and try Timex Tales yourself → https://lnkd.in/eyr2rB7u

As a dad, seeing how we can use technology to strengthen, not replace, this beautiful, analog tradition is incredibly inspiring. It’s safe, intuitive, and the perfect way to build lasting confidence for the next generation. A massive thank you to the brilliant minds at Timex Group and Google Cloud for making this magic happen! 🕒❤️

Reading an analog clock is partly a language skill, since children also have to learn phrases like quarter past and half past. Placing those moments inside a story about a childs own day gives the words real context, which often helps them stick. #EdTech #EarlyLearning

A great example of AI working best when it's tied to a clear human need. Timex isn't adding AI for its own sake. It's using it to solve a real learning problem and build a lasting connection with families. For founders, the lesson is to start with the experience you want to create, then choose the technology that delivers it. Curious how other legacy brands will use generative AI to reach new audiences

This looks incredible, so exciting! Many congratulations 👏🏼

I like how this uses AI to keep a traditional skill alive rather than replace it. Turning analog time-telling into a personalised story where the child is the hero makes learning more engaging, and the family-focused approach matters for trust. It's also a smart way for a heritage brand to connect with the next generation of watch wearers. Congratulations to the Timex and Google Cloud teams.
